Online Training
If finding the time to attend a Public Workshop is a challenge, then XP Software’s instructor led internet-based training may be your solution.
Our interactive training is taught “live”. Our engineering expert projects their computer screen onto yours via the internet, and talks with you via a speakerphone. You can ask questions and steer the direction of the training.
There are fifteen modules to choose from, or you can create your own topic. Each is two hours in length and worth 2 PDH’s.
All classes are private, and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Students will be awarded a certificate of mastery upon completion of all fifteen modules.
All two hour modules are US$300.00 each. Organizations purchasing 10 or more modules at once or organizations with current Enterprise Agreements are entitled to a 10% discount. These are for single attendance. If you wish to add other connections, or record your session, other fees apply.

Current List of Available Modules:
Exchanging data using built-in xpgis Module
xpgis offers you the opportunity to quickly to import and export GIS data from multiple sources i.e. ARC-View, Arc-info, ArcMap, Mapinfo, etc into xpswmm. Learn how this can save you time and money.
Creating Pond Outlet Structures
Modeling ponds is easy in xpswmm, but do you know that a complex outlet structure with four or more outlets can be modeled. Learn how to model a pond, including an outlet structure and how to find pond information in the output file and in xptables.
Simulating multiple design events using Global Storms
Learn how to run multiple design storms in both runoff and hydraulics and see the output from multiple storms on one graphs.
Manipulating Network Objects
Learn how to change attributes, rename and/or move connections or poly-links.
Generating Dry Weather Flows
Learn how to generate dry weather flows for sanitary and combined sewer systems in both the sanitary and hydraulic layers.
Judging and Improving (Numerical) Model Performance
Learn how to use the output file information to revise parameters and improve the continuity error, efficiency and run time of your models.
Code Force Mains and Siphons
Learn how to model force mains and siphons in xpswmm.
Running Conditions Simulations using National Weather Service Rainfall
Learn how to use existing NWS rainfall data in your model without typing or cutting and pasting the data into the model.
Using xptables, filters and Quick Data View
Learn how to create your own xptables, use the filters in xptables and use Quick Data View.
Adding Water Quality to a storm water model
Learn how to add pollutants to an existing stormwater model, rout those pollutants and interpret the water results.
Creating Dual Drainage (Street Flooding and Inlet Restriction)
Learn how to rout flows in a sewer and on the street including using street storage.
Hydraulic Layer Pump Options
Learn how to use the different pump options including special pump options.
Improving your Productivity – Copy-Paste, Merge, Design Aids, Change Inverts and Generate Slopes/lengths
Don’t miss out on many times saving features in xpswmm. Learn how you can develop and modify your models faster using the above xpswmm features.
Popular Configuration Parameters
Take advantage of the powerful configuration parameters in xpswmm. Learn how these parameters can help you.
