"With our Scott Air Force Base (SAFB) project,
I was able to show the district that XP-SWMM is a valuable asset in the
field of hydrology. Instead an unsteady flow model has been used because of relatively wide, flat floodplain's, flat channel slopes, levees, looped and reverse flows and significant floodplain storage. When XP-SWMM became available it was adopted because of its superior graphical input, features and graphical output. It was found to perform well and overcome previous problems.
